It’s official, San Diego band Wavves have a pretty good sense of humor. After singer (and only real member it seems) Nathan Williams’ drug-fueled freakout onstage, his bizarre apology and then the canceling of the rest of their Euro-tour… Wavves have responded with a clever new video for their song “No Hope Kid”. The clip shows them on tour, having fun, cruising around Europe, gulping vodka (from the bottle no less), smoking the chronic (well it’s Europe, actually it’s prolly dirt weed), shoving food in their mouths, rocking next to some Euro-kid in a Velvet Underground shirt and in short NOT HAVING A REAL JOB! Allot of people (and people in bands) have been talking shit on Wavves saying that the singer dude is a dick and a pussy… first off, there’s no way someone can be a dick AND a pussy… it’s one or the other dudes. Pick one! Secondly, Nathan Williams is like 12, give the kid a break… SORRY HE GOES OFF! We like these dudes and their band, plus whoever made their video “has an eye” yo! Shit looks great for a low budget “we’re on tour, doing cool shit” video. Wavves have three shows lined up… YO PUSSIES, COME PLAY LA! Drinks are on YOU!
