We went and saw The Meat Puppets destory The Mint last night at their record release party for their new full length player “Sewn Together”. It’s the second full-length release from the veteran band, formed by brothers Curt and Cris Kirkwood in a Phoenix suburb in 1980, since bassist Cris was released from prison after serving 18 months on assault charges and it fuckin’ RIPS! I dunno… Does it rival “Up On The Sun” or “II”? Or is it more along the lines of “Monsters” and “Too High To Die”?

And what’s with them looking like an 80s hair-metal band at this point?

Dude on the right, not sure which Kirkwood he is, doesn’t look like a hair metaller, he looks like Mickey fucking Dolenz from the Monkees. These guys have been making albums longer than most people reading this have been alive, they can look however they want.
