Magic Wands wrotes a really great song called “Black Magic”!

One of my favorite new bands now hails from Nashville (and Los Angeles – yeah, it’s confusing) and call themselves The Magic Wands. Made up of boyfriend/girlfriend duo, Dexy and Chris, these two have some of the best (not to mention catchiest) dreamy dance pop songs I’ve heard in a long time. Instantly like-able, totally sugar sweet yet also sprinkled with dirty guitars (ala Jesus & Mary Chain tones) that really balance the songs out and certainly won’t make you feel guilty for liking these tunes. As you know “dreamy dance pop songs” aren’t usually up my alley… but these kids do it so well I can’t deny it. Review of their EP “Magic, Love & Dreams” coming soon (buy it here if you trust me I promise it’s good) but download a song (and watch it’s video) now. Like Ozzy always says “I LOVE YOU ALL! THANK YOU! GOOD NIGHT!”

    Wow I picked up this EP on vinyl yesterday because you said to and I can’t tell you how into it I am. More info on this band… interview them! I love Dexy and Chris, they’re so cute and their videos are great!

    @vishal good call on Sweet FA… makes me wanna drink a bottle of wine, eat some pills and prank call my ex boyfriend. In fact, that’s the plan for tonight. Anyone wanna come out and laugh in the background?
