Since those days a little bit has changed… these Philly-kids have changed their name to Po Po, become friends with Diplo and M.I.A., gotten better hair-cuts, written some crunchy riffs and gotten a bit more low-fi. I really like the new direction these cats are headed in, really excited to hear their new album they have coming out in 2010 on Mad Decent. I actually ran into these dudes at the Arclight while they were recording in LA and I’m pretty sure Zeb has grown another foot… homeboy is huge! By the way, hey Zeb what’s with the whole taking my number yet never calling me bit? Weak sauce dude! Word on the street is that they’ll be back in the sunshine state in January recording with Diplo and my homeboy Ariel Rechtshaid (who’s previously produced for Cass McCombs, Foreign Born, Luke Top, etc) for their album and their first proper single. Better call me then bro.
