The Black Crowes love them some weed and from the video below you’re about to watch, you can tell they are not down with steak-head security guards. Right now The Crowes are on tour with my buddies “Truth & Salvage” (who’s record Chris produced but I haven’t heard it even though I know them – hint, hook me up dorks) and at the Philly show it looks like someone in the crowd got hammered by a security guard for smokin’ the ganja. That’s when Chris got all Gil Scott-Heron and went OFF on the jock. It’s a long rant for sure but worth watching for the line “sometimes hippies got a little punk rock in em too!”

As you can see the Crowes don’t fuck around when it comes to the sticky icky. And from what I’ve heard, Mr. Robinson is giving Bob Marley (during the “Exodus” era) a run for his money for the title of most joints inhaled by one “functioning” man. And if you were wondering about the photo above, it’s not Chris Robinson, but it kinda looks like it could be his dad. It came up in Google image search when I typed in “Chris Robinson marijuana”.
