Beach Fossils: Sunny-Beach Sounds From A Not So Sunny-Beach Place

beachFOSSILS

What’s there really to say about a band with no formal releases (that I can find), only four songs on their myspace page, no more than a handful of shows under their belt (none of which I’ve ever seen cuz from the looks of it they’re only touring Brooklyn so far) and two mp3s floating around the internet? Not much is right. But not much need be said about Beach Fossils, their psych surf songs about leaving town on vacation and beaches do the talking for me. I wanna leave town and hit the beach bad! Who’s driving?

Download these two jams I’ve dug up on the interweb and watch Ray Concepcioñ’s interesting live video (from The Chocolate Bobka Website) of the band playing at Cameo Gallery in Brooklyn. Ray loves his zoom feature like beach Fossils love that underwater vocal effect. Hey Beach Fossils, if you tour your asses out to California I’ll take you dorks to a real beach like Malibu where it’s warm! Imagine that, Booyahkai!
