New Night Marchers Song + West Coast Dates!

Swami John’s San Diego punk rockers, The Night Marchers, are about to unleash their second album called “Allez Allez”. It’ll be out on Swami Records on January 22nd, 2013, fuckin’ duh if you didn’t know that already! And duh if you didn’t know they consists of 3/4 Hot Snakes, with John Reis (Rocket From The Crypt, Drive Like Jehu, Sultans), Gar Wood (Beehive And The Barracudas, Tanner), JSinclair (Delta 72, Mule, Bardo Pond), accompanied by Thomas Kitsos (previously of Montreal rock n roll destructionists CPC Gangbangs). And from the sound of the first song they released today this album is a little bit heavier than their debut… and dare I say… more Hot Snakes-ish? Either way, I jump at the chance to see John Reis live cuz not only does the dude look like a male model but he always drops some of the funniest/coolest banter around. Someone put this guy in a fuckin’ movie already! OK! OK! I’m done ramblin’, now take a listen to “Loud, Dumb and Mean” and peep the dates I’ll be stalking them at below.

John Reis told Rolling Stone “["Loud, Dumb and Mean"] is an ode to bands like Nervous Norvus, Lee Hazlewood and “hundreds of other musics that make me smile and boner and break Ikea furniture and pile the splintered, laminated, wood-like shards in the middle of my condo and burn it. To me, the kitsch and the camp and the novelties are often far more artful than that which is peddled as sincere reflections of the human condition.”

NIght Marchers hit the West Coast! with The Intelligence and Mrs. Magician
