The Icarus Line Self Release Two Sets of Rarities

The Icarus Line have posted two sets of hard to find rarities (the first is 15  tracks and the second batch is 16 tracks) on Bandcamp for a limited time to help fund the recording of their next record as well as future touring. Volume Two is here now too! But all of these rare tracks will disapear by years end so make sure you purchase them NOW!!! While you’re listening to these tracks read up on The Icarus Line with these two great articles; first over at The Line Of Best Fit & secondly over at one of my favorite music sites The Quietus. Enjoy!

Here’s a sample of what you’ll find in those rarities…

“To help fund future touring and the next record we are releasing a collection of hard to find and unreleased material. This is just the tip of the iceberg so please don’t file share this stuff if you want to see or hear more music from the band. We soon will be re releasing the past records with bonus material. This current collection of music will be in limited supply which means it will not be available after the new year. There will be no physical copies pressed. This is it. Get in while you can….Enjoy all Loud!”

“The second installment in the Rarities Limited Collection. All kinds of strange tunes are showing up on unmarked cd’s that have been in the vaults. Almost every track on this compilation represents a whole batch of unreleased versions of songs.

I decided to make this collection much like Vol. 1, deep cuts that can poke in and out of different eras of the group. If you are digging the first chapter then you will enjoy this even more. Selling music helps the band to continue and make records more frequently, please don’t file share it publicly or with people you don’t trust. These tracks will be taken down after the new year but there is more re releases with bonus material coming up this year. So here we have it, a two disc retrospective on a 12 year career as The Icarus Line. A collection of the thought process and inspired nights. Get on in!creditsreleased 18 November 2011″
