Community Arts Project: “Nil Bog” Music Video by the Cassettes
Happy Halloween from Buddyhead.com (that’s me!), Postage, Inc., Many Lancaster Artists and the Adventurous (not to mention prolific) CASSETTES. The Cassettes are from the crime-riddled area known as Washington DC (2011) but look more like they are from a 1930′s sci-fi comic book with their steam-punk vibe. Back in 2006 Buddyhead (that’s me!) released a mighty fine album by The Cassettes called ‘Neath The Pale Moon, which if you haven’t heard… you should go buy it directly from the band themselves who have re-released it (they even pressed it on killer looking Cassettes!) HERE!. Two short years after “Neath”, The Cassettes put out a self released a more “Buddyhead-sounding” album called “Countach” and dropped this music video for the song “Nil Bog” on Halloween 2009. Two years later it’s still just as spooky!
The video was part of a Lancaster, PA area community arts project including members of Lancaster arts group, the Creative House of Lancaster as well as many other independent artists.
Participating Illustrators, Compositors, Dreamers & Graphic Designers were: Ryan Mast, Rob, Sarah Rebar, Joseph Krzemienski, Jeremy Bentley, Amanda Grosh, Derek Lau, John Spencer, Jeff Stoltzfus, Matt Samuel, Heather Hough, Dave Seyfried, Dominic Vivona, & Jeff McComsey.
