Lulu (30-second Samples) by Lou Reed & Metallica
Lou Reed (the creator of the life-changing iphone app “LOU ZOOM”) has announced to the world (like the massive dickhead that he has become) that Metallica & Lou Reed’s forthcoming collaboration album “Lulu” was available to stream in it’s entirety because some “inconsiderate fool in Russia” has leaked it. So you can listen to the whole thing over at http://www.loureedmetallica.com/listen-to-lulu.php or save some time and listen to the 30 second preview version above and get through it in a mere five minutes…. how much do you hate yourself is the question here.
Check out Lou’s blog post below and then check out the full stream (if you dare) on the Metallica/Lou Reed website. Shit is tough to get through.
“Since some inconsiderate fool in Russia decided to leak our album, we are going to let you hear it in its entirety (in much better quality than the leak!). Listen to LULU, the new album by Lou Reed & Metallica!“
In case you were wondering how in the hell Lou Reed ended up working with Metallica, watch them butcher “Sweet jane” on October 25, 2009 at Madison Square Garden in New York City during a concert to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Maybe they can update the “Napster bad” to “Lulu bad”… yeah it wasn’t that funny, sorry.
