This new Noel song is titled “If I Had A Gun…” and out of the three songs Noel has properly released, this one is hands-down my favorite. [Based solely on the fact that it has the word "gun" in the title! I kid! I kid!]

This was the first single “The Death Of Me And You” with the B-side they threw on there of “The Good Rebel” (which is argfueable beter than the A-side but yet none of these songs are as good as some of the older songs we already know like “(I Wanna Live In A Dream In My) Record Machine”, “Stop The Clocks” & “Everybody’s On The Run”. As much as this isn’t Masterplan Part 2 I think we were all hoping for, it’s still better than Beady Eye, fuck it’s better than 90% of other bands out there today and it’s still fuckin’ Noel.

And now here are some older demos and versions of songs of some other songs that are in the tracklisting for this record. The real studio versions are yet to be releasesd but we can still compare the old ones we’re familiar with. This was supposed to be an unreleased bonus track on that weird pointless (aside from getting out of owing one more record to their label) “Best Of” which was actually called “Stop The Clocks” as well. Not sure why it never made it’s original home, but can’t wait to here the new Flying Bird’s version.

This is another demo said to have been kicked around the “Don’t Believe The Truth” sessions called “(I Wanna Live In A Dream In My) Record Machine”. It’s got dreamy lyrics, some catchy hooks and could have been right at home on The Masterplan had it been written decades earlier.
