Sure it’s always weird at first when you find out a few of your friends are having a party and you weren’t included. But after you get over the initial uncomfortable period you just have to go for it and invite yourself. They might be bummed you’re coming at first but they’ll get used to it. Plus if you think about it, there is appsolutely no way for them to say no to you without looking like the biggest dickhead on the face of the planet. That’s why when I saw that my friends we’re getting together and throwing a music fest I asked to be on the list plus one. How could I miss a fest put together by my favorite music website that isn’t Buddyhead – Aquarium Drunkard, the best venue in Los Angeles that also happens to be walking distance from my apartment and my “hands-down-no-contest” favorite radio station in Los Angeles – KXLU? I can’t. I’m gonna hit this as hard as I can until I have to be at work around 10pm… if you end up in Hollywood tonight (or any Friday or Saturday nights) I’ll be DJing rock n’ roll tunes at the world famous Velvet Margarita from 10pm til 2am on the back patio. Come drink with me.
