People who are actually great at what they do. Led Zeppelin, Beethoven and a few in between.

Wanting to always get better, competition, new instruments and nothing better to do really.

3. If you weren’t making art, what do you think you’d be doing?
I keep my eye on the prize, so I don’t really think about this question much.

4. What would you rather be doing right now?
Nothing gives me more pleasure than filling out this exhilarating questionnaire.

5. Give us your best recipe!
The only thing coming to mind right now is chili pie for some reason. Fritos, cheese and beanless chili. I clearly don’t cook much, but I’m sure there’s something a bit better in my small repertoire somewhere.

6. What makes you cringe?
Chad Kroeger, musicians chasing the dream into old age who have NO idea they suck and shitty celebrity drama.

7. If you could pick one superpower and it had to be either flight or time travel, which would you choose? And what would you do first with your newfound ability? Would you rally on the side of good or evil?
I think I’d have to pick time travel on this one. I’d probably get sick of flying after a while, but with time travel, I could meet some interesting people, watch quite a few shows and check out a good war or two.

8. Do you have hope for this current generation of kids who worship Lindsay Lohan, suck down TMZ, download music and yet, have never owned one CD or LP? Or are they a lost cause?
Have hope for these kids in what sense? Hope that they’ll stop paying attention and devoting time to useless things that don’t really matter or hope that one day they’ll physically own a quality album? Unfortunately, they don’t look too promising in any way, but hopefully they’ll grow up, figure it out and earn a nice, decent spot in society.

9. Tom Cruise: genius or psycho?
Asshole.

10. What in the world is affecting you right now?
Not too much really. Life reaches a whole new level of easy when you’re home for a while. There’s plenty out there in the world to fuel my competitive spirit though. I dislike quite a bit.

11. The ’80s or the ’90s? And why?
I was too young to really appreciate either of the decades, but I’ll go with the ’90s because everything seemed less ridiculous.

12. What could you NOT live without?
Honestly, music. It’s what I do and what I am. Chocolate is pretty delicious too.

13. Give the internet some words to live by…
I could take the smartass approach on this one, but I really don’t have anything constructive to say. Goodnight.
