Silver Lions 20/20
So I know this grumpy old British dude named Simon (yeah I know that they’re all named Simon ang grumpy) who knows a shit-ton about rock n’ roll and also happens to distribute some of our records on his small ice-island known as the UK (through his company Forte) so I talk to him often. As soon as my previous post about The Black Keys went live, Simon was sure to let me know that I was in fact a “poser” and that I should check out a band called “Silver Lions 20/20″. Well like I said, I’m not a huge fan of The Black Keys and Simon is fucking right… I’m a poser and Silver Lions 20/20 fuckin’ rip.
Look like a pretty rad Dylan poster where ever they are playing in that photo above (which has nothing to do with anything other than that’s fuckin’ cool) and I think they need to come play LA.

I don’t have an mp3 of the yet to share with you but when I get one I’ll post it RIGHT HERE. For now, take your drunk ass over to their myspace page and stream three songs.

I’m British, and I’m not grumpy or called Simon. You’re right about one thing - it IS cold, but men look sexy in chunky jumpers and long coats, so that’s ok. Silver Lions 20/20 are alright, but I much prefer The Diarrhea Song.

It’s good to see Chet back again, not as good as the ILCK1,2 and 3 but still. The sound this guy gets live from his custom made amp and guitar is fucking scary!

I like this better than the Black Keys, but I’ve never liked the Black Keys.

The Dylan poster is all well and good, but I’m really feeling that monstrous Peavey TNT combo. Very high school battle of the bands-ish. They sound best when running an instrument and a vocal mike through it at the same time.
