There’s a lot going on in the world of Jeff Wood and his band, SHAT. First off, their digital-only live album “Alive From Cunt” just came out. We’re pretty sure it holds the record for “most times a band says the word faggot on a live record”. Click here to buy it.

I’ve also been informed that their longtime drummer, Grandpa, has left the group was unknown reasons. I was hoping that meant Mangina would be returning to the kit, but it seems they’ve already got a brand new drummer (who’s name I don’t know yet but I’m pretty sure it’s gonna rule).

If you hit up their myspace page you’ll that Shat’s has shows booked for a tour in early 2008 and will be opening a string of east coast dates opening for The Dillinger Escape Plan in December. You’re not gonna wanna miss these shows, trust me.
