Sneak peek at the new Queens Of The Stone Age

Happy fuckin’ Saturday… I’m in a killer mood and I’m pretty sure it’s due to the french press coffee.

Here’s a youtube clip previewing snippets from the new Queens record… it’s really short but if I remember correctly Aaron told me he was still able to burn rope to it. It’s gonna be called Era Vulgaris which if you move all the letters around spells Rad Vagina… I think. It’s gonna be DROPPING in record stores on June 7th and from what I heard they’re doing it hip hop style with guest spots galore… expect to hear Julian Casablancas from The Strokers, Trent Reznor from a small band named NIN, Mark Lanegan from the Screaming Trees and um…. Queens Of The Stone Age and Billy Gibbons from ZZ top in some form on the new record. I’m hoping for a killer bee type song with all of em that kinda sounds like “Triumph” by Wu tang Clan. That song was killer and I don’t even like hip hop. Fuck I miss Ol’ Dirty. Anyways, hit QOTSA dudes on the web at www.myspace.com/queensofthestoneage and www.qotsa.com.

Sweetie, there’s no “d” in Era Vulgaris, but sometimes we read things as we wish them to be…ha,ha.
