Ride promo video from 1994

Andy Bell from Ride is now in Oasis… you like how it all comes back to Oasis? Speaking of Oasis, check out this kid butching a little single you might have heard of called “THE HINDU TIMES”. It’s a bummer.

Some kid “covering” The Hindu Times

Oh since today is covers day or something… here’s The Raconteurs covering The Undertones “Teenage Kicks” live at Rock City, Nottingham (2006-10-23). How come Jack White’s super cool and super rich yet he still dresses like a total retard? You’d think either he’d figure it out by now or he’d hire someone to figure it out for him…

In case you didn’t see the news on our front page, gossip page or myspace page… We’re pretty excited over here at Buddyhead because a band on our label from Philly called The PoPo (Pops Ghostly-Jahan Zeb Malik, Hamstar-Hassan Ali Malik, Blue Bishi-Shoaib Malik & Fullscreen-Michael Edward Collins) will be opening up for Nine Inch Nails on their European tour here in a few weeks. If you happen to live over there, make sure get to the shows early so you can check these dudes out. They will not disappoint you. They’ll also be playing as many of their own shows as they can, those dates will be announced soon. Hit up their myspace page here to stream their songs or click here to buy their debut on Itunes.

Shat’s also on tour right now in America. Shat across the USA. I have to mention that here as well cuz if I don’t Jeff Wood calls me 400 times today crying about how we don’t ever promote Shat. There’s also a good chance he could possibly hurt me once he gets to LA…. with that in mind… Jeff Will be on the Red Peters show on the Howard Stern 101 station (Sirus radio) tonight at 7pm, if anyone can record it and send it to me somehow that’d be tits. Check out Shat’s myspace @ http://myspace.com/shatband for tour dates and songs and their website @ http://jeffwoodofshat.com/ for way too much Shat info. Try and make it out to a live show of this band… you’ve never seen anything like it… I promise.

i feel like a champ. haha.

that was interesting. i didnt not know any of that before i got here.

i think that kid with the hindu times cover stole the show. maybe a little practice with the riff.

when i go see shat im going to dress like shat. i saw shat posters in my city.

how does it feel to feel was cool. i liked oasis’ version more, less lyrics about riding rainbows and stuff.

i think jack white should of covered christine sixteen by kiss instead. IMHO

this blog really cracked me up and iheard some stuff i never would of heard before, as always *pause for emphasis* thanks.

  • adam_of_black_earth

i said oasis when i meant Ride.

i was also the second gunman on the grassy knoll.

  • john

i just started dying five seconds into that kid playing…only on buddyhead…haha

  • nikki

This migh be the wrong place for this but too fucking bad. Any time I try to get anything buddyhead related I have no luck(I am from Canada) Yous guys really need to do something about that please or at least tell me a canadian distirbutor where I can pick up your shit. Oh and Jack Black, dude sucks but can ocasionally(sp) makes decent music. Level best song he has ever done. Buddy head kicks ass, wait no you Travis kick major ass. Kisses you sexy slut.

  • curious_george

i wonder if travis is going to post some smiths or morrissey songs on here. if all things lead to oasis, then i would think they’d be on this blog sooner or later. after all, didn’t noel gallagher start playing guitar after he saw johnny marr in the smiths? but from what i remember, i don’t think buddyhead are fans of either.

  • Stoney

Should I see Shat when he comes to San Diego?

i think you answered your own question: because he’s super cool and super rich and cos he can.

i suffered through the entire “hindu times” cover thinking there’d be some kid-on-bear action or something, but nothing. that’s 3min of my life someone owes me.

  • chris

you should see that kids other covers. “some might say” is his best.
