Limp Bizkit just recorded a cover of Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s 1984 hit “Relax”. It’ll be on the soundtrack for the new Ben Stiller film “Zoolander.” We’re betting Freddy has no idea just how gay Frankie goes to Hollywood was/is. Or maybe he does. Only one way to find out, call him and ask (310) 865 7671.

Vincent Gallo is humping P.J. Harvey. He rules.

Mariah Carey was hospitalized after suffering from a “mental and physical breakdown” at her mother’s home in NY. The singer, rumored to be dating Eminem, was upset that her ex-husband (Tommy Matola) was trying to “torpedo” her career. Whatever, she should just dump all the industry geeks and get her freak on with Jeff Wood. By the way, Jeff says you that you people don’t call enough anymore. Talk to an International Icon by calling 973 402 4028

Speaking of quitters, Ben Affleck is in rehab too. He huffs dongs as far as we are concerned.

Hype band of the week, The Strokes played LA last night to a sold out house at the Troubadour. Scoobs came from miles around to see ex-child star, Julian Casablancas (he played Tom Hank’s best friend Billy in “Big”), sing about how rich his father is and how his band has never worked for anything and just how much wool they are pulling over everyone’s eyes.

Chi Cheng of Deftones just cut off his dreads; he can’t mack hippy girls anymore

In other GNR news, Slash, Duff, and Izzy are still not in the band.

At the MTV 20th Anniversary Party, The Outlawz, Tupac Shakur’s group that he put together before his murder in 1996, and P. Diddy almost came to blows during Puffy’s rehearsal. Supposedly, the trouble started on Wednesday when The Outlawz crashed the rehearsal for a tribute to Shakur and Biggie Smalls. While Puffy and others were doing their thing, The Outlawz began, “messing around and talking shit”. Puffy ignored the troublemakers until one of the Outlawz snatched the mike from his hand. Suprisingly Puffy didn’t back down, and a huge brawl almost took place as security ended up ejecting the Outlawz.

Madonna canceled her New Jersey show so she could go watch Shat play at Connections in Clifton, New Jersey. Jeff’s going to father her next child, bank on it.

A bunch of bands that you like still suck… but that’s nothing new.

Jade Tree is picking up and moving their operations to Philadelphia from Delaware in the fall, where they will change the direction of their label from girly bird watching rock to progressive bong metal.

EMF is back. We’re not sure what to think about that… Click here.

Kris Roe of The Ataris spoke about their band signing to Columbia Records: “The bottom line is that we chose Columbia over everyone else we talked to for no other reason than this, we want to continue to grow as a band and this for us we feel at this time is the next gradiual step for us as the ataris”. And he even spelt “gradual” wrong. Hopefully Columbia is gonna hire some spell checkers over there for Kris and buy them a new sign (photo1) (photo2) (photo3).

Vadge Moore, longtime drummer for the Dwarves & notorious ladies man, got married 2 weekends ago in Colorado. Real-live Satanists were involved. His bride’s name is Jenna & she’s pretty damn foxy. But will the little girls understand?

The singer of Sum 41 is dating Rob Halford. We Approve. Call Steve and ask him about it: (416) 709-0367. Oh, and don’t get him talking about Scientology, he won’t stop.

Good Charolette, New Found Glory, and all those other shitty pop punk bands can suck on our collective balls.

Sean Na Na signed to French Kiss. No word on where Har Mar is going label wise.

Rex “El Dangeroso” from Flickerstick left his wife and kid, and is humping that girl Raychell from that other shitty Band’s on the Run band Harlow. Pat Smear is producing the Harlow album.

Dave Grohl is ditching out on the Queens of the Stone Age record.

The Foo Fighters played some small bar in the valley last night; they opened for a Van Halen cover band. Tomorrow night they will be playing the Troubadour, the 300 audience members were selected from a group of email entries submitted their website. We’re gonna go and yell Alanis Morresette songs at Oliver (Taylor).

Ghostface Killah has reportedly recorded a Track that will be on the soundtrack for the upcoming Major League 5 starring Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez. The best part is that Emilio is on the track rapping. We’re betting they we’re all pretty coked up.

Adam, previously of Rocket From The Crypt, is playing drums for Alkaline Trio on the Vagrant Tour. That dork from Face To Face will take over for the next tour. He better learn how to drink real quick.

CKY got signed cuz one dudes brother is on Jackass. The bros over at Volcom are pissed cuz that’s the other band they had that sold any records. Stick to surfing bros.

A Dag Nasty tribute is gonna come out soon. Bands on it will be: Planes Mistaken for Stars, Strike Anywhere, Ex Number Five, Gameface, Testicle Bomb, Fairweather, Grade, and Shat.

Paul ([email protected]) “At the warped tour in TX my friend Rob was going to do an interview with Kool Keith. When he got into the bus Keith asked him if he had any drugs. Rob said he didn’t and Keith told him to get the fuck out of the bus.” Keith is our hero.

Mike Patton, vocalist for Faith No More/Mr. Bungle/Fantomas will be handling the vocals on the next Dillinger Escape Plan EP, which will be out sometime before 2002. Yes, this does rule.

Also on Mr. Patton’s agenda are several tracks on the new Automator album called “Songs To make Love To Your Old Lady To”, due in the fall, a Peeping Tom record in the second half of 2002, and the long awaited project with Massive Attack. Oh yeah, and he dumped piss on Axl’s monitor when he Faith No More was on tour with Guns N Roses, just thought we’d add that in.

Fantomas is on tour in Australia, if you’re from there then you should go. You should also send us a Koala, or just some girls with accents.
