2. If you weren’t making art, what do you think you’d be doing?

Living entirely on the  dark side, if at all– Art has saved my life and allowed me to
explore the darkness without being submerged in it forever…Rock n Roll especially..

Danny Devito, easy– that bounty hunter dude freaks me out!

7. Was middle school your “Vietnam”? What were your survival tactics?

Good question, YES! pretending to be gay, flyering my school with Anarchist propaganda..
playing extreme screamo, pretending to be Robert Smith… and teaching myself guitar
instead of going to classes

8. Do you have hope for this new generation of Lindsay Lohan worshipping, TMZ sucking, music downloading (and have never owned a cd or LP), fast food gobbling teenagers? Are they a lost cause?

I have a lot of hope for them! Only the old generations are stuck in their ways and even they are capable of changing… HOPE has been ruined tho.. We need a new word!! I see a major consciousness shift coming in the next few years and it will be easier for the youth to re-think and re-perceive reality… Instead of worrying about that I try to focus on what energy I can put out there.. I think the kids are alright tho! What is TMZ? What are cd’s and lp’s? :)

9. You are guilty of shameful things. What are these BAAAAAD things?

How did you know? Some must remain secret, but in general- ego, selfishness, thoughtlessness,
stealing (I got caught and shall steal no more)– at the same time, you gotta be free
and learn from mistakes…. gotta be bad to know what’s good. I am ashamed mostly of FEAR,
of missing out on life’s expereinces because of being afraid. some things I DIDN’T do might
have been “BAAAAD” but I wish I had done them anyway- life is short. Don’t hurt others,
otherwise, get your freak on!

10. What could you NOT live with out?

Some form of psychic medicine, music, friends, family, my band, LOVE, a sense of purpose… coconut water, bananas,honey, strongest espresso u got……… trying to renounce as many attachments as I can, but I am attached to Freedom and could not live without it..even if it’s only in the realm of the imagination.. a free mind is what keeps us alive i believe.

11. What’s the most important life lesson you’ve ever learned?

Believe in yourself, trust your intutiton, be willing to risk everything for what you believe is meant to be.. there is no right and wrong, only infinite choices.
